what is the world coming to??

this story is so crazy to me. partly because i have no concept of the political situation in lebanon, but the fact that this story is about christian militias and the fact that the leader of the army and the leader of the country has to be a christian is astounding to me. good grief the world is messed up when "christians" are behaving like this:

sadly, it's things like this that are done in the name of Christ that make me more and more hesitant to label myself as a christian...

i just don't see too much in common between my own beliefs and the apparent beliefs of most christians anymore.

that said, i'll probably see you at church tomorrow. oh, the irony. :)

i totally hear you. it's rough sometimes to id as christian.

just so you know i won't be in church tomorrow. it's my birthday and so i am staying out of the city and spending time with the fam. but i hope if you go there are no weird performance pieces! *grin*
